Noel Academy at Choimim Class of 2019

Friends,
I want to share with you the preschool class of Noel Academy. This class is made up of 25 children from ages 3-5. I hope you are as excited as we are about what you see. These children are in a clean, print-rich environment; they are learning, and learning well. Mr. Rogers, our elementary school principle, tested the students against the leading preschool in the county and our children were well ahead academically. We are just so appreciative to each of you who have contributed money to construct this facility and provide these classroom furnishings. As the class enrollment grows we will keep you informed on their progress.
Just to share with you a serious need, there are 2 children in the community who have lost their fathers due to AIDS, and the families cannot afford to send their children to Noel Academy. These children attend public school where some classes have over 60 children to one teacher, and they are educated, so to speak, in facilities which are filthy and very poorly equipped. These two families are active members of the church at Choimim and have no idea that we are asking our friends to help. I would like to ask if there would be anyone interested in helping to fund these two children’s education. The tuition for Noel Academy is $240.00 per year for preschool thru 4th grade (inclusive of uniforms and meals). If you should have an interest, please let us know. We would like to have these children in school as soon as possible.
As you know, I was in Kenya last week and I’m happy to report that the orphanage house is nearing completion and the primary school foundation is well underway. God willing, the orphan house will be completed at the end of August and the primary school (phase 1) completed at the end of October.
Pertaining to our evangelism projects, it’s a praise. We were blessed to work in three areas and had the opportunity to share the gospel with some 350 people making professions of faith. This is great for the work in the Nandi area, as we will have the privilege to disciple these people and God willing, get some of those committed into our Bible school.
Please pray for the church planting project going on this week in Nandi. We are blessed to have 19 volunteers from Georgia this week helping to plant 4 new churches in Nandi. Our goal this year is to plant 12 new congregations. This will bring the total of congregations participating with the Community Baptist Church movement to a total of 12 locally.
Thank you again for your support, your prayers and your participation.
To His glory!
